19th Annual USArtists Show Is Sept. 23-25

The Women's Board of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA) will hold the 19th Annual USArtists American Fine Art Show & Sale, Sept. 23-25 at the Academy's Samuel MV Hamilton Building, 118 N. Broad St., Philadelphia. The event features an extraordinarily rich and diverse collection of 18th- through 21st-century American art. The show, is the country's largest comprised strictly of American art, featuring 35 vendors and galleries from across the country. Show hours are Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets are $15 per person and provide a full-color show catalog, unlimited entry to USArtists 2011 and one free admission to PAFA valid through October 2012. Guests who purchase tickets online will receive a $3 discount with purchase; Seniors and Students with ID will also get the discount automatically. All ticket proceeds support student scholarships at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. www.usartists.org
Events Include:

Opening Night Gala: 5-9 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22

This will let you experience an exclusive preview of USArtists at an elegant cocktail reception and light buffet.  Tickets range from $125 to $550 per person, depending upon entry time.  

New Collectors Night, 5:30-8 p.m., Sept. 23

This is for those seeking to being a journey into the world of fine art collecting. The night features a light buffet and a chocolate and beer tastings  Betty’s Speakeasy and Yards Brewing Company.  Tickets are $60

Dealer Talks, on the hour from noon until 4 p.m., Sept. 23 and Sept. 24

Leading experts will present 15-minute gallery talks. Free with admission.
